WOODWAYOTHER TREADMILLS
Running/Walking Comfort3/8 - inch vulcanized rubber surface & patented SlatFlex™ system absorbs force of footstrike at point of impact. Safer on bones, joints, muscles and tendons.PVC, cotton & nylon belt stretched between two rollers, over a wooden deck creates harmful footstrike shock upon impact.
MaintenanceBall bearing design means significantly less friction, wear, maintenance*, costly repairs & an overall longer life. Belt never needs tracking adjustment and no deck wax is needed because there isn’t a wooden deck.

Requires weekly maintenance. Decks must be waxed regularly. Belts must be tightened regularly. Replace belts. Flip and ultimately replace decks.

Speed RangeZero start with speed increments of .1MPH to top speed of 25 MPH, even with the heaviest users. (up to approx. 550 lbs.).5 start speed, top speed 12.4 MPH. User capacity 200 to 350 lbs.
EconomySuper-efficient design decreases friction and saves electricity ($300- $800 less per year, per treadmill in high use environment). Plus, durability reduces overall costs & even costlier down time. Replacement of belts & decks needed on average of 10,000 miles. In high-use situations that’s every 6-12 months.
Life Expectancy
This will depend upon how the treadmill is being used & maintained.
The belt should last 130-150,000 miles. Woodway’s can also be factory renewed, thereby doubling their lifespan. Given maintenance described above is done, a conventional treadmill should last approximately 40-60,000 miles.
Accuracy of MeasurementsDrive system eliminates belt slippage and projects true speed accurate within 1/10 MPH. Does not vary with weight of the user. Absence of hood allows for better gait analysis and easier, less-inhibited stride.Display projected is motor speed, which varies with both the weight of the user and belt wear & slippage. Front hoods and belt slippage hinder gait analysis.
